Enjoy a leisurely bike ride along some of the most scenic roads of northern Michigan, on your choice of a 20 mile, 44 mile, or 62 mile route. Each route includes scenic M-119, locally known as Lake Shore Drive, better known as the "Tunnel of Trees." There are refreshment stops along the way and support vehicles provided by Touring Gear Biike Shop out patrolling. After your ride, join us for an awesome lunch in the courtyard, it's all included!
To register in advance for the ride only: Adults $25, children 6-12 $15, age 5 and under free. Fee includes route map, great refreshment stops, sag wagon service, and lunch. Cyclists must start between 7:30 and 9:30 am, the lunch ends at 3:00 pm. Participants who register at the event pay an additional $5 on all fees. Family and friends not riding are welcome to join you for lunch. Advance registration for extra lunches are adults $15, children 6-12 $8, age 5 and under free.
Spend the weekend at Birchwood Inn for a complete cycling experience. The Weekend Package is only $130 per person, plus taxes, based on double occupancy or $150 plus taxes based on single occupancy. It includes Friday and Saturday night's lodging, a hearty breakfast Saturday, a continental breakfast Sunday, and HSCC registration fee. Deposit for double occupancy is $100 and for single occupancy it is $75. Cancellations made two weeks prior to the event receive a refund, less a $10 administrative fee. Within two weeks all deposits are forfeited.
Harbor Springs Cycling Classic t-shirts have colored graphic art on the back and a pocket-sized logo on the front. To guarantee your shirt, your registration must be received two weeks in advance. Short sleeve shirt $15, long sleeve shirt $18.
Additional Information: Friday evening pre-ride check in 7:30-9:30 p.m., Saturday pre-ride check in 7:30-9:30 a.m. Cyclists must start by 9:00 a.m. Saturday morning. Helmets are required. Riders must obey State of Michigan Bicycling Laws. Be sure your bike is in good working order. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Registration and deposit are requested fourteen days prior to the event for planning purposes. Notice of registration cancellation made two weeks prior to the event will receive a refund, less a $10 administrative fee. Cancellation made within two weeks of the event forfeits all deposits.
